Pamphobeteus cf. antinous “big black” (Peru), captive bred. Black with faint reddish-brown hairs on the abdomen, reaching an impressive size. Keeping parameters are as for other Pamphobeteus. Reccommended for intermediate-level keepers and above.
Description
In 1903 Pocock described Pamphobeteus antinous from specimens collected in northern Bolivia (Madre de Dios), near the trifurcating border separating Bolivia from Brazil and Peru. [1] Pamphobeteus cf. antinous “big black” is from Peru. The relationship between P. cf. antinous and the type species remains to be defined.
