Description
Tliltocatl verdezi, formerly Brachypelma verdezi, comes from southwest Mexico, in the Sierra Madre del Sur. [1] It is a member of the Tliltocatl red rump species, comprising T. kalenbergi, T. schroederi, T. epicureanum, T. vagans, T. sabulosum, and T. albopilosum. Whilst not a common member of the group, T. verdezi has a distinctive look that appeals to collector specialists. Spiderlings were captive bred in Mexico and imported under CITES purview, lineage undisputed. They are eating 3/16″ crickets vigorously.
