Avicularia rufa (ex. juruensis) 3/4″


A large, brown Avicularia from northwest South America, Avicularia rufa is known for bright, yellow-banded leg joints, evident even in early instars. Size, color, and yellow leg bands are unique to A. rufa. Keeping requirements are as for Avicularia in general.

The photo above shows a young female Avicularia cf. rufa “Peru,” a nearly identical species.
